Avoiding Mergers

In this photo, there are a couple of people that are cut out, so it doesn't really make a good picture.

Framing

In this photo, the smoke coming from the twin towers create a frame at the top of the photo.

Balance

In this photo. the plane thats about to crash into the second twin tower makes kind of a cone shape.

Lines

In this photo, the lines from the building and the lines inside of the crane are facing the same way. And way in the back you can se another building. The lines on the building in the back is facing horizontally but like the first building and the crane.

The Rule Of Thirds

In this photo, the fireman is not centered. He is more to the right. You can see his shadow and you can see whats in the background really good.

Simplicity

In this picture, you can see where the plane crashed into the twin tower and where the smoke is coming from. There is nothing in the sky, it's just plain and blue.

40 Greatest Photos Ever

I picked this photo because my mom was in the military when I was young and she was gone for a long time. I was probably the same age as the little girl in the picture. It touched me because I know exactly how it feels to not see your loved ones for a long period of time.

I picked this picture because I have a flag in my house. It was my Grandpa's flag. He past away the day before Thanksgiving. Its hanging up on a wall in my living room and its an honor to get his flag. It means so much to me. I'll never forget that day.

I picked this photo because John F. Kennedy's son raised his hand in respect of his father's death. You don't see that everyday. Its truly amazing. You wouldn't really expect that from a little boy. John F. Kennedy's son saluted his father's coffin along with the honor guard.

Post Shoot Reflection

Tiana Featherstone

Photo #1: This picture needs a little improvement because its a little blurry. You Could've done a close up, that way you can see the grooves and details in the metal.

Photo #2: This picture of the red shirt is good. Red is one of my favorite colors so i really like it. And it pops out from everything.

Photo #3: The picture of the girl smiling is really good. I like how you did a close up on her. The picture is real clear too. Its not blurry or and the quality is not bad.

National Geographic Picture

This is my favorite picture because I think it is very beautiful and breath taking. Even though I am scared of lightning, I actually like this one. The clouds kind of remind me of cotton candy because some are pink and the some are purple. Its just beautiful overall !

welcome to my blog

first photos best and worst

This is my best picture that I took. I thought the lighting was good. Khalif planking on the rail was pretty cool. He makes it look really easy. This picture shows how couragious he is and I love it !

This is my worst picture that I took. You can barley see his face because its so dark. And there's someone else in the picture in the background. I didn't use flash, maybe thats why it looks so bad. Like you literally can't see his face.
